Normally, you review restaurants, but since our dining rooms are closed right now*, we’ve created this platform to solicit, share and celebrate some “hospitality” reviews from a little closer to home (okay… a LOT closer to home).
For the next 30 days, we’re collecting reviews of home isolation partners from across the GTA. But that’s not all, we’re paying $100 a day in Distillery Restaurants gift cards to our favourites! 💸
Here’s your chance to scratch that rating-itch by giving those around you the rave 5-star reviews you’ve been missing! We’re sure there are some home hospitality heroes out there, and we want to hear all about them! If there’s someone you’re hunkered down with who’s been going above and beyond, we want to know! 💞
Or maybe someone in your home’s service is leaving something to be desired? Got grievances to air about your current company’s “culinary chops”? If isolation has revealed new things about the person you’re stuck with (the funnier, the better!), send those our way too!

"I'm nominating my roommate's boyfriend who is isolating with us. He cleaned, rearranged and organized our whole fridge. This quarantine affecting everybody differently, I guess? I've never seen him behave in this manner, dude must really be going through it."
"The funny thing about quarantining at home is hearing you partner in full work mode for the first time. I've been thrilled to learn that my husband is a "I don't think Laura was done speaking" guy. There's no one I'd rather be stuck with. (Single star deduction for all the desk whistling. 😉)"
"My 24 y/o had to buy A TURKEY bc there was no other meat left at the grocery store. Frozen BTW so it took 3 days to thaw. So we decied to make a whole "Thanksgiving Dinner". He helped me make every single thing. Organized everyone else in the house to dress up, and then made a toast to how grateful he was for us. 😢 It was one of my proudest partening moments and a memory I will treasure forever."
ISOLATION IS HARD.
As much as we are trying to have some fun with this campaign, the reality of what’s going on right now is not lost on us.
We know that being isolated at home is tough for everyone, but, for some, it’s dangerous. Isolation measures protect all of us from the spread of COVID-19, but for some, it exposes them to other risks.
We also know that not everyone is lucky enough to be “stuck” with someone, and that being isolated can be hard.
